Rivershores specializes in prestaining exterior product. Machines (known as Flow Coaters) were designed to quickly apply paints and stains to cedar and, eventually, cement board, in a consistent, even coat, allowing product to be shipped to the jobsite and immediately installed with minimal touch‐up.

Seventeen years ago, Rivershores saw a need to assist builders with having product prestained to make jobsite production quicker and more efficient. Flowcoat machine #1 was purchased; and Rivershores became the first flowcoater in the Greater Grand Rapids area.

Today, we operate two flowcoat machines – a water line and an oil line. We also have shingle coating ability and a spray booth for intricate detail work.

With prestaining, select any color or give us an item to match. Choose solid, semi‐transparent, or transparent with a paint or stain. Opt to have a single coat applied as a primer or to have two coats applied for minimal field touchup.
